Croatia-Slovenia cross-border health cooperation gets EU funding

The Kvarner health tourism cluster and another seven partners in Croatia and Slovenia have been granted from European funds 85% of the EUR 800,000 necessary for a cross-border cooperation project aimed at improving health services over the next two years.

Aside from improving health services for the domestic population, the project will also benefit tourism, notably during the summer, when the need for such services in the northern Adriatic Kvarner region increases, reporters were told in Rijeka on Thursday. (Hina/FaH)
