Croatian tourism to be advertised on BBC, CNN, Euronews, Eurosport this spring

Croatian tourism will be advertised on BBC World News and Euronews from mid-March to the end of May this year, after its promotion has been made on CNN and Eurosport for several years, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) said recently.

The HTZ has earmarked HRK 1.75 million for advertising on BBC World News and Euronews each.

Promotion on those two global television corporations is part of the HTZ efforts to step up the advertising of the national tourism abroad.

This year, CNN and Eurosport began broadcasting HTZ advertising clips on 2 February, and TV audience will be able to see them until the mid-July on CNN and until the end of May on Eurosport.

The HTZ is planing a two-digit percent growth in funds for this year's advertisements on global television networks and national broadcasting companies in countries from where tourists arrive in Croatia.
